Due to an interesting post of @Proletar...

Well, that's an interesting question, and it melts down to purpose in the end.

You see, the difference between an ENTJ and an INTJ is that ENTJs have Te as main and Ni as aux, and vice versa.

Te wants to get things done and Ni wants to get the information. If Ni is supporting Te, then you would get the information in order to get going with your project, and if otherwise - you would get things done in order to get the information. So what are you doing here? I would say that what you do is primarely for the sake of knowledge -> information, and hence INTJ.

I'm posting here because INTJ forum is an absolute bore - politics and self-discovery are the main topics. Not interested in the former and the latter isn't my life goal.

There is no active ENTJ forum, and mixed forums contain too many S and F types, which means less freedom posting.

INTP forum contains a lot of useful information and people who I can discuss various topics with.

I post mostly when I'm in an MMO and I can't do anything else while playing due to intervals where I need to do something for 1-2 minutes and 3-4 minutes of do-nothing time. I can't do anything in 3-4 minutes and I hate being distracted. Posting and reading is a good activity to occupy that free time.

I am an xNTJ, I am quite certain I'm an ENTJ. It's hard to recognize your real thinking when you're unemployed in this economy. One interesting observational argument I thought of today is that I either want to be alone or the center of attention, I do not want to be that side-guy who listens and laughs periodically.

I am contemplating starting a "ask an ENTJ" thread. Thoughts?

Do you have a constant stream of projects you work on, and do you get frustrated when someone who is supposed to be working with you on one or more of those projects is lagging? And are these projects part of a great plan of yours for the future?

Let's see if you're an ENTJ.

Did some cherry-picking on your post there.

Still, I would say INTJ because you burrough deep into your topics, and also in the other thread making the definitive difference being between harmony and dominance; not leadership vs effort or teamwork vs the individual, another tweek of the question, which is to say that your question wasn't mainly about anything social. To me, that weights the scale towards introversion. Still, there can be social introverts and internally focused extroverts. Maybe you are one of those?

Keep in mind though that there is always a dissonance between the self and the appearance. I can never know what you think and you can never know how you seem. So in other words I can never fully know where your questions are coming from, and what's ultimately implied in them. All I can do is draw my conclusions from what's actually put out, and ultimately that's what we are bound to base our exchange of. If you forgot to mention something, it's irrelevant.

INTJ, ENTJ, ISTP, and ESTP all share the traits, Fi,Te,Ni,Se.

In that regards I cannot understand you, because I am exactly the opposite in every regards. However, I do beleive that a person can at any given time be any of those three. I beleive that the four traits are constant, but the order of which you use them can change.

I myself have an ESFJ, ENTP, and ISFJ personality that hide beneith the surface of my core INTP activities.

For example, Si, though it may be tertiary, is still part of who I am as an INTP, so I can still consciously use that as my guide and in essence become an ISFJ.

Then again, maybe I am just crazy.

Why would you play an MMO with that much down time? How often does that happen?

I like strategy, that MMO offers that. However, the more you play, the less strategizing you do, which is why I'm increasingly growing bored of it.

I play it every day.

I do have a project I'm working on at all times, at least one, preferably more. I do not get frustrated per say, but I get very annoyed when someone's lagging, slacking, etc.. That is why I prefer to work alone, unless I know I can control what my teammates to prevent that lag.

Yes, every project I do is a part of my plan for my future. I can't imagine doing a project for any other purpose, honestly.

I don't want to discard the rest of your post, but I don't think you can base I/E on a thread I've created. If you can tie the rest of your post to something else, that'd be interesting.

What you're saying is that INTP should be the best friends with ESFJ. All that's missing now is an INTP army with baseball bats.

If you play it for the strategy, why not play a strategy game, where that's the entire point?

Strategy is different in every strategy game, I like this "type" of strategy.
