I sat down 10 minutes into the trailers. Noticed the entire cinema was packed with couples (remember, I didn't realise it was valentines day), with a 1 seat buffer in-between each couple (it was a disorienting sight, actually) and so I found one of the more private areas of the theatre and plonked myself down next to some young couple. A few minutes into the film, I saw his girlfriend's hand making it's move. I decided I didn't want to deal with that while I watched Ryan Reynolds impale bad guys. I asked myself: How can I deal this without making a scene? And so the battle for the armrest began with a direct invasion of personal space. Nobody like's having their genitals touched while some bearded dude is shouldering them... It didn't take long to win the battle - and the armrest.

Does that qualify as directly interrupting them and making them stop?

Fuck valentine's day.
