I've been working out for about 2 years. Stopped for about 6 months and am going on strong again. Resistance training 5x a week during my lunch break when I can. I find that for me, it's almost like meditation.

Pics! I need to know what 2 years looks like. I am not sure if I have made gains in 4 times a week doing light workout for a month or two. Plan on going hard for 6 months.

I do thirty pushups, ten pullups, and jog for around twenty minutes almost every morning. Around twice a month I go biking, for some two or three hours per session.

In the past I've tried bodybuilding: resistance training 4-5 times per week, an hour of cardio and an hour of stretching every day, eating 3500 calories a day. I did that for maybe 8-9 months. It's a lot of effort, I did not enjoy the daily routine (as time schedules became extremely tight) and my progress was much, much slower than I expected. I tried playing around with less time jogging or eating more but I just accumulated fat. Too damn much work and my body responded poorly.

I used to compete in amateur Muay Thai when I was a little younger. I still train. However, I hate "working out", and to me, it's more of a means to an end (such as being a better martial artist). :/

and to answer the thread, i try to ride my bike sometimes, at most for some hours up to 3 times a week, but often just once a week. my body isn't ready for most other workout routines and starting with the basics is so little fun. i mean the joints of my hand hurt, when i try to do push ups.

I try to jog 7km every other day. Lets my brain rest and helps you sleep well.

I tried the gym in college.. didn't last long.
