Here's a collection I've been building up. Welcome to share your own, don't have to be created by yourself.
1.)
Explore the reasons to survive
Might you transcend
An iffy “alive”
Observe the flow of time go by
Expect the end
And wait to die
An apathetic drifter knows
All life expends
The door must close
2.)
Here I lie dying slowly,
Dying slowly, dying slowly,
All is quiet, rather lonely
Not so wholly
Lie I here
Every moment I decay
Every moment everyday
I succumb to this dismay
Here in solitude I stay
Keeping troubled thoughts at bay
Lie I here
When people are at distance
These feelings have persistence
No matter my resistance
They remain, Hence
Easing a mind tense
Lie I here
3.)
Balloons be Ghosts, Phantom Hosts
Air-filled Terror, None so Rarer
The String it Totes, the Way it Floats
Inspires Fear in all those Near
The Children Flee and Cry and Shake
Balloon-Ghosts See and Try to Take
All their Hopes and Dreams Away
It's here they Haunt, and here they Prey
4.)
Your greatness may be nothing new
Your greatness may be always true
Your wings of light expel the night
And your smile cures the blues!
--But your greatness is no laughing matter
All ill thoughts will fall and shatter
The way you shine, it is divine
Then, now, and ever after
5.)
Call it luck, call it fate,
There sat a walrus, on my plate,
From which I ate,
The walrus
Yes, we did fight,
Deep into that night,
Until I built an appetite,
For Walrus
I do admit,
It threw a fit,
And then I hit, and so I bit,
That Walrus
A creature, so vicious,
Now known to be delicious,
Immensely nutritious,
A walrus
6.)
Call it luck, call it fate,
There perched a baby seal
Center plate
--A yummy meal
On my plate
From which I ate
That baby seal
I built up such a hunger
That I tore that seal asunder
Spare no flipper
Stock no blubber
Save no parts tough or tender
All went down during supper
All went down gulp and shudder
All went down
That baby seal
Desire real
Much did fulfill
A stomach thrill
