 Haiku! Not quite, actually, but close enough.

Welcome to the forums, oh traveled seeker of truth. Just don't trail mud onto the carpet :p.

:P

There is no misdirection here. We're all quite straightforward and clear, rather clear. Further, there's quite a bit of leeway within the four letters that unite us; a clone army regarded with absolution is a bit strong.

I guess I'll just leave that to creative license.

;)

Its quite ambiguous since I put it in haiku, but I originally intended the opening post to be something of an out of whack conspiracy theory; that this forum was actually the staging point of some secret clone army, cloned from me, masquerading as a psychological type that was put into place by my mindless robotic overlords who have me trapped in a nutrient tank, have imprisoned me by neural rerouting to keep me as a sort of gene repository of the human race.

The fact that many of you guys already could tell so much regardless of how much I twisted it proved a few things to me.

What an exciting way to view the world, as all a conspiracy. I love doing that.

I wondered at times if everyone but me was actually a robot. How would I be able to tell, you know? Started to really get into that mindset at times.

Messes with your head.

If everyone in the world is a robot then the world revolves around you, victory!

In any case, we are all self replicating robots of flesh and blood are we not?

For a robot I sure waste a lot of time.

I think robots need a creator also.

Childhood brought many thoughts like that. Like, what if when I close the lid on a shoebox so that no one is looking, there is actually something happening other than still darkness?

Or just the realization that everyone perceives the world with them at the center of it, instead of realizing the universe is not self-centric. That everyone sees life as we see movies, with their self as the character the camera is always on.

I am not a robot, unless I am a very well designed one.

Imagine! Fooling a robot into believing it was human! That sounds like fun.

The purpose if me bringing back this thread was to show the current people on this forum what it was like here in the early stages of its development. I meant no harm at all. In fact I was trying to help this forum out. At least you agree that it was a great forum, very open and accepting. That is what I wanted people to see.

Now I see that it hurt you so, I deeply regret my decision to do what I did. I am sorry.

Nyeh. It's fine. ^-^
Though I'm sure there are more honourable ways of paying tribute to a forums golden age.

Let me check... nope, no problems to speak of.

First off that first emphasis on "your" was an active sign of aggression. Secondly, I may bitch and whine a lot on this forum, but I am not insecure. If I was do you really think I would post all that personal stuff I say here? Wait, you know the answer to that question, so why are you saying what you are saying?

For some reason I picture you saying this as you remove your jogging trousers and summon a jar of rubbing jelly.

Because you're overly defensive and read into things too much when I'm not even talking to you or about you.

Lets go over what happened:

- I quote another poster (not you) and say something to him
- For some reason you think it's addressed to you
- You apparently think I'm using some kind of super obscure jargon to diss you, even though I repeat, I'm not talking to you. :ahh:

So yeah, I'm annoyed by that, call it aggressive if you want.

That's exactly what someone using obscure jargon to diss people would say.

I don't think that's an actual quote Jennnnnny.
Though I would have accepted 'Smote his ruin upon the mountainside'
'Waxed full mightily" and "Strove with him/her for three days and nights"
:D

It's pretty roomy you should come in, bring a friend. Or two!
And bring a kitten.

Kittens are cool.
