I'll roll the setup randomly but possible town power roles will be taken from a combination of:

- Town Cop
- Town Jailkeeper
- Town 1-shot Bulletproof
- Town Tracker
- Town Vigilante
- Town Innocent Child
- Town Watcher

MAFIA:
Will have up to two of the following dependent on Town setup
- Mafia Tracker
- Mafia Role-blocker
- Mafia Godfather
- Mafia Doctor
- Mafia Jailkeeper
- Mafia Ninja
- Mafia JOAT (Jack-of-all-Trades) with 1-shot Ninja, Strongman and Roleblock

OTHER:
- Game might feature a Serial Killer
- SK will get to choose each night whether to be investigation immune or Bulletproof for that night. The SK cannot be both at once.

Once the setup is decided, everyone's role will be randomly assigned. There could be up to 4 Town PR and 2 mafia PR.

Rules
- orange is my mod colour, don't use it for anything
- voting is compulsory and must be done in bold and purple - this is so as not to confuse any text with mod text. Voting is no longer orange
- lynching - the player with the most votes at end of day is lynched. There is no majority lynch. In the event of a tie, the result will be no-lynch
- day and night will be 48 and 24 hours respectively
- play to win - anyone not playing to win condition will receive a warning and potential modkill
- actions - for players with night actions, they'll be submitted via your personal QuickTopic if Town and the Mafia QuickTopic if Scum. PM's on this site won't count.
- animated gifs or videos - MUST be in spoilers, don't clutter the thread with them (not a foreseeable problem, just making sure)
- activity - you must make at least 2 posts with content every 24 hours. That's not a lot. If you don't do it in the first 24 hours, I'll prod you via PM and if you don't respond with 2 posts in the next 24 hours, you'll be modkilled and banned from (my) next game.
- gossiping - don't talk about the game outside the game, anywhere. Any time. Ever. If you do it, you're modkilled. Don't even hint at it. Last game actually had someone slip outside of game that their role (after being replaced) was town. It sucks for the game overall
- editing - you're not allowed to edit your posts in this thread. If you make a grave formatting error that you need fixed, notify me in-thread and I can fix it for you.
- have fun - attacks in the game aren't personal, they're part of the game. Remember that and don't take it too seriously. Also, no below the belt attacks - yes am aware that I did this in Game #1, but it's not conducive to people's continued enjoyment playing mafia on this site. With that in mind, don't do it.

There's no way of anyone getting preferential treatment, and you could see quite a broad combination of power-roles throughout the game.

Less shit posting, more pondering. I have a better feel for the place / people now, and what is expected. I got off on entirely the wrong foot last time, as my expectations were far too low.

I still think we should have 12 hour day / night, though. It makes it frantic and more exciting. You have to be a shot caller, rather than a plodding ninny.

I'd do that, except people need to sleep/work and we're going to end up with people across all different timezones. So it's not ideal. Plus voting is compulsory and it's not majority lynch. End of day will be at a set time, both because I think it's better for gameplay and also easier on everyone's lives.

My 'meta' (I believe that's the correct term) will be different. I'll still be throwing my balls around, but my posts will be meatier and I'll be pushing more buttons... so don't read too much in to my role on that basis.

Also note that you'd never catch me out even if I were to be a Mafia. There's never any discernible difference in my style, because I have no conscience.

2. How will things work in regards to last second voting? There are quite a few things mafia can do if they can vote at the absolutely last second before anyone else can change their minds, particularly in the last few rounds of a game.

If there's an Innocent Child, they'll be able to PM me and choose their time of reveal. Otherwise I'll announce it Day 5 by default.

Passive. If there's a BP townie, they have 1-shot NK immunity and that's it. No passing.

Actions will be considered simultaneous, so people will just be blocked if they're blocked as opposed to blocking a blocker so they can't block so the person they blocked isn't blocked...

If three people were to block each other in a circular manner, they're all blocked.

Player A blocks player B blocks player C blocks player A = A, B and C are all blocked...if you follow me.

I'm making sure the setups will be balanced, so if there's an SK in the game their power will be adjusted according to what the Town/Mafia setups are and vice-versa.

I'm not revealing what specific combinations are possible, since I don't want people to pre-know and try to meta-game it.

There'll either be 9 or 10 pro-town roles in the game, depending on whether or not there'll be a Serial Killer. I'd say minimum of 5 would be the best bet. Up to 5 town could be power roles if they're on the lower end of power or it could be as few as a single power role.

I don't have any particular care for orange over anything else, but it's a colour most people never use. Same with purple. Most people use red/blue/green/yellow for highlighting and I'd rather not make people's lives harder.

Plus since people don't use it often anyway, it easily stands out and people know when something moderator-ish has occurred.
