In Nov 2015 I took the wais4 with all 15 subtests. overall was 113.
In Nov 2017 I took the wais4 with only the core 10 subtests and overall got 109.
I do not know what you mean by pattern recognition.
Could you provide a description?
You may be referring to matrix reasoning?
I am not sure what the guy meant by "pattern recognition," I just know I scored "strongly above average" in that category. I am not exactly sure what "strongly above average" really means. It could mean top 10% or higher (or lower), I really have no idea.
I am unsure if my WAIS-IV score will be in numerical form, because he said my results weren't going to be in numerical form when I asked him about deviations. I mentioned deviations because I noticed in your WAIS-IV score from Nov 2017 that some of the deviations were different. I was curious about what diviations my results would be in and I guess I didn't do a good enough job of getting the answers I wanted.
I recall the person that actually administered the test (who was a different person than the person who scored my test) said something along the lines of "he's really smart" to herself while I was taking a test and she was saying this when she was looking at some other results that I had done earlier (I think). The guy who gave me my results said I was "a bright guy" but IDK what that means exactly. How "bright" am I? IDK if that means I am in the top 20% or something much higher. I hope I get some kind of numerical results, but I am doubtful that I will given he told me things were not going to be based on numerical results. He also told me my reasoning was good, but again, what does "good" mean?
I also find it weird that I got the lowest score on a test that I even told my mother I liked that portion of the test the most. Basically, they told me about a paragraph worth of info that was a story. Then they asked me questions about the story they had just told me. Apparently I did very poorly on that test. IDK what this measures exactly. What I have sorta been able to piece together is that I somehow make up stories and substories from what is actually said, so my interpretation of what the actual story is, is off, which makes me answer the questions incorrectly.
