I still prefer the LOTR books to the movie, there is always something that ruins it in a movie. Having said that, I enjoyed the movie's portrayal of the Ents though. ;)
I recently saw the movie and enjoyed the music and the idea that music is a living thing.( not interested in the romantic story in it.) So who here has seen it and What's your take on it?
What about being a hotel critic? Think about it, going all over the world to different places and trying out new foods and activities. And why not do it in style?
I agree, stick around longer and annoy them back. Kind of sounds like that quote about ' I wish long life to my enemies so that they may see all my successes' sounds like a plan.
I miss Fraser. Kinda funny that it was a off shoot of the series Cheers. I also enjoyed Faulty Towers, Billy Conolley when he stays clean and my favourite a local comedian called David Kau. He makes you laugh at yourself and does it without being lewd.
I never went to my prom and I in no way regret it. Why should I dress formally when I am definately a casual dresser and put up with these false people? A quiet night with a decent book or friends is preferable.
Our human body has a built in function for survival. I think that people that are suicidal should be given support as sometimes yes it might be a cry for help but other times it could be very serious. I think it must be quite sad if someone over rules a natural built in instinct. That being said...
What about other ancient civiliations? I found the Egyptians interesting especially the mythology, but the Mayans, the Incas and the Aztecs also had an interesting history as well some amazing things for science.
I am quite happy with my windows XP, but everyone I've met and spoken to about Vista seems to be having endless problems with it. Is this just a bug thing that will be sorted out in later versions or is the Vista truely a problem child?
Hi loveofreason
Thank you for the welcome, the closest person I have to a friend at work is an INTP. This has in turn prompted me to learn more about the INTP.
Welcome to the Forum Aphasia. I'm new as well, I'm glad you handle yourself but I don't think I'll be needing help in that department. I have my father's Irish temper. As for the curtsy each to his own, just be true to who you are and don't blend in. I feel each person is entitled to their own...
Lets see. The Outsiders by SE Hilton, The Lord of the Rings, Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams(Hitchhiker series, Dirk Gently wasn't as good) Dean Koontz The door to December. I'll think of more later.
