Last time I played a game was last summer. But it was just for fun, nothing too serious. I used to be addicted to gaming, I spent most of my childhood playing games. Nowadays, I just don't enjoy playing games, even when I force myself to do it.

Most likely you will have to learn basic theory to be able to play anything (unless you wanna play Punk :p). I bought my guitar for approximately £220, so yeah... $200-$400 sounds reasonable.
