Wouldn't say "mainly". i guess only about half of his body of work is adapted. Even so, his adaptations are pretty loose(he retains the source's ambiance while also giving it a completely new character)

No, not really, watching movies or TV isn't one of my favourite activities, because I feel like I'm dead in front of that screen if there's not anything that stimulates me. I chose that quote because it resembles me in a quite good manner.
