It could, but doesn't really. It just supports the notion that there exists a trend towards white females at this point in time. What if history turned out differently, and for example the industrial revolution happened in the middle east instead of Europe?

I'd consider that white males probably have the best and most consistent and utilized internet access in the world, for starters.

No.. Im saying it's a historical reason.

Other than that, I don't understand how one would make sense of the claim that western looks is objectively more beautiful when people clearly have evolved to have different looks across the globe.

I don't see why that would be relevant to male sexual instincts.

It is irrelevant whether people have evolved different looks across the globe, unless one presupposes that we have evolved to find local objects to be of higher aesthetic value (which may be true to a degree, a male may prefer a beautiful female of his own kind, simply because, she is of his own kind.)

Many different forms (living or not) have evolved across the globe, the geographical distance doesn't restrict us from being attracted or intuitively recognizing higher forms of symmetry.

I can find a horse in the Middle East to be less aesthetically pleasing than a horse in Iceland, and the horses in Iceland may generally be more beautiful than the horses in the Middle East due to particular traits we are attracted to for one reason or the other.

Then the question remains – why don't all human races converge to the same looks if there one type of looks that is objectively more beautiful?

It should be noted, that social change is not a significant variable to take into account when attempting to understand male sexual attraction (but interestingly, the same cannot be said for females.)

Certain cultures hold the belief that beauty is subjective or that everybody is beautiful, and despite this, sexual selection continues rather predictably, and in contradiction to the claim (e.g. fat and ugly males/females are less likely to find mates.)
