Any other INTPs "careless"?
For instance, I want good grades...I want my room to be clean...but then again, I don't really care. This semester I have straight A's, but it's like that's not REAL learning. It doesn't matter, so I do not care as much. And also, (using keeping the bedroom clean for example) I'm not saying I'm "too smart" to clean my room...that sounds weird...but say I'm watching The Amandas, the organizing show...shes a super perfectionist and it's like...what is your problem. its not that serious. you dont have to have your crap perfect to be perfect or... wtf youre dumb! theres no point of this! I know im probably not being too clear on what im trying to say but whatever.
I want to be good at what I do...but I'm not exactly competitive. Like i could really care less what the person next to me thinks. I am not like...I HAVE TO BE MY/THE BEST!!! I just kind of...go at my own pace...have my own time..."discover" knowledge...and im good.
Can other ppl out there expand on this or give me some input on what they think or if theyre like this...or anything at all?

Depends on what is important to you. By deffault, we don't pay much attention to things that don't hold value for us. For example, your room -- I read in the profile (and strongly relate to the statement) that as long as stuff doesn't hinder moving around the room and accessing things of our interest, trash and junk is invisible. Or moved and forgotten in case it does stand in the way of things.

Same may go for school, studying, etc. In our natural state, we care about only interesting (currently interesting) things -- for me, it is video games. It is silly, but I am really competetive in those. And I can bet you'd be competetive if someone showed up and would try and be better at the thing you like doing most.

Also, there is a peril in this kind of attitude -- if you're not empathic enough, you might actually hurt someone by disregarding the things they hold dear. In the room example, your mother/girlfriend/wife could be hellbent on making you clena your room, as she values a clean house. You think to yourself, "What is all the fuss, it's gonna get dirty in a day or two anyway". But the point is, every human puts superficial value in/on something. Be it cleaning, MtG cards (my mom is a teacher and confiscated such cards on a lesson -- the student almost flipped on her, but was stopped...), playing an instrument; it can be anything.

So, all in all, it is a more human trait than anything else.
