Canada, eh?
Are INTPs doomed to seeing both the good and bad possibilities? We want the good possibilities to come to fruition, naturally, but our objectivity and general tendency to be pessimistic force us to see the bad as well. It's quite frustrating and discouraging - at least for me. I see what good could come of something, know that I want to do it, and then become paralyzed into inaction by the potential negative outcomes. It's a horrible cycle.

Have any of you learned to cope of this?

I would say they are doomed to see the bad possibilities and blessed to see the good. It is a double edged sword for sure. I will say that only dwelling on the bad possibilities is not good for the psyche, while only focusing on only the positive causes us to not see things in true reality.
