I've had anxiety all my life. I just never knew I had it, and thought it was normal to feel this way. Only after observing how relaxed and calm other people were, I realised that something's not right with me. It interferes with my life. I'm socially awkward and restless when someone's talking, I just want them to finish the talk quickly. Often, I do not let them finish and leave. But, it does have its plus points. It makes my head understand things quickly, however, at the same time very impatient to move on to understand the next concept. 90% of the mornings I wake up anxious and breathing faster than normal.(No, I don't have ADHD, I've a good concentration)
Anxiety is usually linked with depression. I've been depressed in the past, but I don't think depression is the cause.
Anxiety in me makes me want to do something to burn all this extra energy I have. Oh, and there have been times when I'd to do push-ups in the middle of the night to burn the extra energy which wouldn't let me sleep.
Is that an INTP thing?
