Many things to discuss.

3D is key

Paying attention.

Recursiveness

I believe the brain is setup to take many things in at the same time. To build on itself in loops.

I read a paper that says depth propagation helps connect ideas. So imagine what happens when multiple branches occur back to themselves.

If working memory is about refreshing several concepts, holding them together, and buffering them. I came up with a way of describing it.

Four to the fourth power (4^4) = 256 recurring feedback pathways. And more depending on the structure of brain network configuration.

It is about getting multiple parts to work on a task independently. Ray tracing of the minds problem solver back to itself.

What could happen is that as problems are broken down into smaller chunks the 3D network would consolidate a sequence in fractal loops.

Recently I became more balanced standing on one leg at a time and moving about. It was this pattern of motion that allowed me to be more fluid and controlled. If this can be done to the body the mind can do it also.

It starts with a central node and federate out.

Once a network can pull inward balance is achieved and the more it can do. It just needs to try to relax to do more at once.

Networks are not just dispersed amorphous blobs in the brain. It has a top down control.

As @EndogenousRebel had his thread about ideology - the super ego is society programing the brain from the id (basic drives) up to a configuration of do's and don'ts. Different brains can assimilate more of them. Then compare them in greater amount as top down is seeing in itself where they fit together. A systems thinking approach. All that needs to be taken into consideration without forgetting all the parts.

A way of thinking about it is that the top of the network is in fact an interference pattern of high resolution. Like a good drawing with many details. You hold it all in mind.

The order of operations matters because in a big understanding you see that for one thing to happen certain conditions must be in place for the whole. A brain network as said is not a blob. The top is meditating the process of coordinating thoughts. Coming together.

A shift then is necessary. A hierarchy of processing. First with attentional gross then fine commands. (Anterior cingulate cortex ?) With error correction (cerebellum) and task switching (basal ganglion).

In essence executive functioning.

The basal ganglion preload actions to be taken in the neocortex. This allows us to effectively know when things are complete and move on to other tasks/thoughts.
