Hi! So I'm having some trouble figuring out my type. After studying the function stacks I was certain that my type is ENFP. For the most part, the ENFP descriptions I've read really resonate with who I feel I am as a person. The only issue is that I'm pretty sure Ti is a big thing for me - at least, moreso than it supposedly would be for an ENFP. And the INTP/Ti-dominant descriptions (and forums) are consistent with how I actually think most of the time.
Could this simply be because of our shared Ne function?
Are there any INTPs out there who have strong 'Feeler' traits?
What's the best way to decide between these two types?
And lastly do any of you guys have function stacks that don't adhere to the typical (and oddly prescriptive imo) stacks?

Hey, I'm an INTP, but Fi is a big thing for me. Fi and Ti are very similar in my opinion, but there are key differences.
I don't know if I'd regard myself as having strong feeler traits, but probably much more than the average INTP, perhaps because I've worked on recognising the purpose and value of feelings.

Since Ti and Fi are quite similar, perhaps you should look at whether Ne is dominant or auxiliary for you. You might also want to check out INFP, as they are quite similar to INTP. I went through this at some point, and I searched for the differences and similarities between Ti and Fi and decided from there which I could most recognise in myself.

By the way, I'm an IEE in socionics, which roughly translates to ENFP in MBTI terms, so, crazily enough, I use Ti Ne and Fi the most. I've also taken a couple of function tests multiple times which confirmed this - my highest scores (in order) were Ti Ne Ni Fi. So maybe checking that out will help. Just as enneagram helps to explain why two INTP, for example, could be quite different, so can socionics.

I think there are more people than we think that don't adhere to just one typical stack, I know I don't.

Here's my personal take:

People get way WAY too hyped up on the CF. The MBTI is the only legit way to get typed, period. Take an official test and if you get result of ENFP or INTP or whatever in between and are happy with it, rock it, roll it, go to bed with it.
