INTPforum BOINC-wide @home Team

Good news, everyone!

Since I've been running BOINC for years without a team to contribute my labors towards, I took the liberty of creating one for INTPforum. It's BOINC-wide so it should automatically attach to all current and future @home projects, although it'll take a while for the team to appear on all of them. So if you happen to be running BOINC and don't already have a team, there's now an INTPforum one.

Right now we seem to only be attached to the following projects (the rest should show up in a day or two - not sure how long it'll take though, I've never created a team before):

Further remarks:

1) The first rule of INTPforum BOINC-wide @home Team is you do not talk about INTPforum BOINC-wide @home Team.

2) The Boinc homepage is here, and you can also download it there. There's also another random thread about it here.

3) Team name is "INTPforum.com".

4) I didn't put in a team description. If you'd like to write one you are encouraged to do so.

5) To join, first attach to a project, go to their homepage, find the "Teams" link, search for "INTPforum" or "INTPforum.com", click on the team when it shows up, and select "Join Team". If it doesn't show up we probably haven't been attached to the project yet, or else I totally fucked something up with the settings.

6) If this works we can try and use similar technology to network all INTP-owned computers together into a Skynet-like intelligence and wage war on humanity (IMO this is the real end goal of our team).

7) The first rule is bullshit. Tell everyone.

8) If you're an admin and you don't like this please don't ban me, I was only trying to have fun.

I've been thinking about starting folding@home for a while, but it seems to be unrelated to the BOINC project.
The main reason I don't use it is convenience, I can't leave it running overnight because my computers in my room, and I'm too paranoid to leave things like that running when I'm out of the house.
Electricity costs come into a bit too.

Hmmm, such distributed processing, sure in theory it's like a giant Beowulf Cluster, which would save a lot of time buying and constructing the damn thing, but the distribution worries me, if nothing else it would be hard to model the AI in such as way as that it can still function in a real-time consciousness.

Edit: Unless you want some sort of tactics/oracle thing... a Lelouch.

Clearly we all need to attach to the project that computes how to run a massive decentralized AI network for the purposes of global warfare and extermination enslavement of non-INTP personality types.

I realized enslavement would be better than extermination because that would leave lots of boring, monotonous maintenance tasks that we would then have to perform ourselves.
