I think what a person says reflects very little on their MBTI type. It's more about how they perceive and judge a particular situation where they have a good amount of choice as to how they are to handle it.
In an event of someone losing control of a car, for instance, that person would be forced to use Ti-Se.
The particular type of a person is a lot like if they are right handed or left handed. When holding a book, a person might be able to use both hands comfortably, and they also might be able to hold a coffee mug with both hands at ease. But when writing, they prefer their dominant side.
