This may not be the correct place. I have a question. Recently, I watched "The Jungle Book," and decided to reread the book, mostly because of Ben Kingsley's portrayal of Begheera. It is available as a free download so I decided to use the money for an audio version.

I find that I often select reading material based on the content, and audio books based on the narrator. Is this just a quirk of mine or do others do this as well? I know it is a silly question, but I seem to be questioning everything lately.

I listen to a lot of lectures/podcasts. The skill of the speaker definitely matters to me too. I'd likely skip an interesting topic/story if the speaker was weak.

Objects in the mirror might look closer than they
I used to listen a lot of poetry by bukowski and Gabriel Garcia Marquez on YouTube
I think bukoswki stuff has animation on it so it is even nicer

Random note: Best book ever: 100 years of solitude
Chronicles of an announced death is cool too
