Member Assisted Forum Search

Hey all,

So the concept is for this thread to be a member-assisted forum search. :3
What I mean by this is that if someone is unable to find a particular post or thread via the forum search function members can ask here if anyone else remembers where that thread or post was located. (because sometimes we may only remember vague impressions of what it was about, not keywords)


A group of minds function more intuitively (and accurately?) I think - and a collective memory of the entire forum is likely to find things easier - seeing how this forums is quite massive and has a long history.

Um.. I guess I'll start with one that I've had. There was this thread I remember that talked about some type of chemically(electrically?) induced "God Encounter" device. Basically it was a chair you sit on, and then they do whatever they do to your brain and you have a type of divine experience like those visions Christians claim to have.. anyone know what thread I mean? o.o

Hi. I need help with another one..

There was this video someone posted about 3D-animated/simulated "natural-selection". As in, this group made these 3D models and gave them semi random code, and tried to get them to do things like walk forward. Most failed but after certain 'generations' they got them to walk, and do other things, in a 3D simulated environment.

Does anyone know what video it was?
It would be most appreciated.
