on the home page, there's a little contraption that shows the most recent posts and stuff near the bottom. honestly, wouldnt it make more sense to put that thing at the top?

i assume that most of the site traffic is returning members, and i know at least for me (and very likely many others), looking at new posts is the first thing i do when i log on.

Uh, no. That is a new installed hack and it's automatically placed there by the hackmaster; ie: it's not something that can be moved in the template coding.

S'just a cute toy basically... intpforum now has rather a number of hacks that aren't part of standard vBulletin, and usually the hackmasters make them just so.

To view New Posts --- which I assume most people use as their forum start --- members can click New Posts on the navbar... It may be different, something like Latest Posts for guests.
