Software that helps you stay on task to learn a new skill.

I am interested in learning some new skills for example and need something to help me stay on task.

Every Sunday, find time to use towards studying some skill, such as art classes, or other skill building.
Carve out 20-40 hours per week and put them on your calendar.

Google Calendar: https://calendar.google.com

https://todoist.com - Where you put your tasks, appointments, class schedule times, etc to keep yourself on track.

Prioritize as what is the most important task, ie, Priority 1, 2 or 3 for example. There are 168 hours per week. 40 of those may be to work. 56 of those are to sleep. So of the 72 remaining hours, you select each Sunday night around your other obligations when you HAVE to study or complete tasks in building your skills toward whatever you are learning. Actually type out the time blocks on your todoist page and stick to your schedule. Devote to it week after week after week so you give yourself time to build your new skills and develop your art. It might be every day at 3pm, you spend from 3 to 8 working at it, just as an example where you do not allow other interuptions.

And, use Apple 'FOCUS' feature which keeps the 'do not disturb' feature on while you are studying.

If you are a procrastinator, the 'Eat the Frog' method is best for productivity, ie, do the most unpleasant task first.

Narnia

It creates the steps in whatever task you put in it.

Just input the task, and press the blue button and it populates the tasks. There are even more features too.

It's really helpful if you're executive function/long-term thinking aren't that good or you just want to save the couple minutes it takes to think of all the steps you have to do.

I love that Magic To Do software, I typed in 'Set up an Ebay Sellers Account"
and it listed the steps! It also shows you you have to do other steps before you can
get to the first task, such as photos of items which is harder than you think if you want the items photographed nicely.

Set up ideal spot to photograph ebay items
Find a suitable location with good lighting
Clear any clutter or distractions from the background
Set up a backdrop or backdrop stand if necessary
Choose an appropriate camera and lens for the items
Position the camera tripod or other stabilization equipment
Adjust the camera settings for optimal image quality
Arrange the items in an appealing and organized manner
Take multiple shots from different angles and distances

Review and edit the photos if required

Also, creating descriptions, knowledge of the name of the antique, sizes, conditions, shipping options, and creating a separate bank account, its harder than just setting a simple account up.

Set up an ebay sellers account
Go to ebay.com
Click on "Register" or "Sign in"
Select "Create a business account"
Provide relevant information such as email, password, and business name
Provide personal information such as name, address, and phone number
Agree to the terms and conditions
Set up payment preferences
Set up shipping preferences
Verify the email address associated with the account
Start listing products for sale
