I mean I made a thready about MBTIy and ity was pretty obvious that INTP simply means intelligence. We know that is the basis of INTP. You cant really define INTP outside of intelligence.

So I challenge you to define INTP in terms of pros and cons to see if you can find a personality dimension of INTP that isnt somehow associated to the INTP intellect. I mean if you say stupid INTP thats like saying smart ESFJ. There is no way you can define INTPs outside of intellect. We are basically machines with a brain and thats all there is.

The mind is a feedback loop. Either folding outward or inward. Find the orientation of where it is folding and you have a type. INTP thinking folds inward intuition folds outward. Combined perception and judgment make INTP the type it is.

Sounds like you are talking about functions, but you used different words for them. I know the functions. I know the stuff about INTP.
I have read all kinds of different INTP profiles.

Actually, paradoxical thinking is probably very connected with intellect, so scratch that. I just wanted to mention that because it was, well, paradoxical.

Beyond intellectual preference/capability, it is worth exploring our supposed ENTJ shadow.

Here is something that implies the benefit of rejecting or de-prioritizing the "intellectual" preference in times of need.

Pro: ENTJ shadow
From my experience, INTPs in leadership positions have to revert to the supposed ENTJ shadow behaviors at least 20% of the time. Execs/stakeholders have this (sometimes valid) stereotype that things should get done through collaboration and diversified input, which, for an INTP, typically succeeds if you have and take the chances to gain a true connection with the people you're leading.

The combination of INTP thoughtfulness with developed E & J enables the long-term success of the initiative, I found, if intrapersonal connection becomes possible or even a given.

Then, things like interpersonal connection or public speaking become easier. Of course, in times when intrapersonal connection is not possible, i.e. you're giving a presentation to a room full of strangers, it may feel like you're just "winging it". But, practicing, like anything else, makes all the difference - You learn to read people's expression and notice that they are an immediate reflection of your enthusiasm, or, you'll want not to bore them with the details but inspire them with something relatable.

INTPs create the influential presence of stereotypical ENTJs without needing to be commanding - Rather, the merit of their intellect and thought leadership stands strongest and wins influence of those that know how to appreciate that. The beauty of ideas or an idea becomes more appealing than any forcefulness of hierarchical power. However, if a mission ends up not going as perfectly as imagined, planned, or discussed, I am on everyone's radar until things are absolutely perfect, and can get noticeably tense if I notice that someone is not pulling their weight.

(Re: Talking about ideas - This unfortunately sometimes causes jealously for ENTJs watching me. Still, they rely on my brain sometimes. I come prepared when they are scattered. The harshest I have ever had to be with someone was direct, and this still garners real trust. Probably because they can see that I was/am not hawkish in my intentions, and that I simply want things to move forward, for them personally and for the team. I have had to fire people. I made sure to speak with heart, because I did feel badly that I've had to do that. And, in many cases, the person at the end of it got a job that they liked better, that was more suited to what they liked to do instead of for the money. The typical ENTJ will likely rip off the bandage, whereas an ENTJ shadow will do it slowly as to minimize the peaks of pain, and achieve a better net result - maintained relationships rather than burning bridges completely.)

Con: Continuous need for development of emotional connection
The weakness, then, is the lack of preference for prioritizing emotional connection over intellectual resonance in talking to most people, as the typical "leader" might do. But, emotions are important. They cannot be erased and should not be ignored.

I dont know what it means to be a leader. Never been in that position and hope to never be. That said INTPs do tend to lead with ideas. They like to go ahead with that and otherwise they dont care. As far as I see it.

ENTJ shadow - according to functions I dont fit INTP, but so I dont fit any type in that sense.
I think for leadership you really have to have some certain confidence and charisma. Thats not something many INTPs have. Now that doesnt mean INTPs cant be enthusiastic and provocative, but they certainly dont fit the leadership arena.
I can see INTPs as suboptimal leaders, minus few exceptions.

Yes. Probably the side effects combination of high openness and low conscientiousness

Almost forgot, since we suck balls at Fi aka how we and others relate emotionally.... a typical INTP will often fail to comprehend how others relate to them... meaning you are very likely to not see when someone is, for example, flirting with you. Other issues may involve failing to apply proper moral judgment to the actions of others, for example, a villain may display logical consistency and actually make sense, so the INTP will fail to see the wrong in what the villain is doing. INTP moral judgment may be rather black and white & lack nuance.

I was kind of meditating on all of this and I came to the conclusion that INTPs are the prototypical energy conservation types. Ti, is habit forming to maximaze meaningful action, Ne is idel thinking in order to gather as much facts and informations since gathering information is far less energy consuming than acting out every thought. For example if you think you have to clean something, well you procrastinate so its kind of nobrainer you save a lot of energy just sitting and think of ways how not to do stuffs.
Si is again energy saving. It means you fact check and stick to remembering stuff in order to make job easier in future. Fe is conflict free seeking harmony and again obviously easy going people are good friends of INTPs. INTPs hate to be leaders, because its lot of responsability and stress. So why do it?

INTP in translation is high energy conserving type. All in all INTP translates to lazy and slow to warm up.

So what fuels INTP fire? Theories? Well kind of, because its the stuff that really matters most. If you have a good theory you can do a lot by very little. Its far better to have a good theory then just do stuff like a ESTP for example. So everytime a wave of information goes over INTPs head they lock down sit and wait and process information in order to kind of figure out the most reliable way to do something with least effort and maximum gain.

Pro: High attention to knowledge, culture. An INTP would be able to tell you which kind of volcano is in X country, why and how. Specific and big overall knowledge. Honest and expect honesty back. Eccentric and spontaneous. Rule breaker. Different and deep inside sensible (it depends).

Cons: Overthinking on an insane levels, lack of social skills, the paradox "I like to be alone but Im lonely nobody understands ne", questioning everything, not romantic. Easy to be bored. Cannot quit toxic relationship. Cannot connect proprerly with people.
