Second thoughts about posting new thread?

I was thinking about the idea of forum threads and got to wondering how many of you have ever felt like you had an interesting, odd, or thought-provoking question or idea but for some reason ended up talking yourself out of posting it?

And if so...why? And what was the idea?

(I find myself doing this quite regularly...but if you think about it, this seems like the INTP type in a nutshell--Having ideas but hesitating to act on them.)

Well you had no second thoughts on posting a second thread about second thoughts. That said it maybe because you did something wrong. But anyway yes but I can't think of anything right now.

I start writing a lot more posts than I actually post. Sometimes it just doesn't come together or ends up a lot less clever than it seemed in my head.
