Objects in the mirror might look closer than they
Yes, from that video i would say NFP, btw kurt loved rem. I don't like them neither.
Kurt acts like more childish, so i relate more to kurt.
Some guy i'm not going to name because he could get upset with me, only him understands why, says Kurt is an extroverted. So...

Jeffrey is a older than Kurt ever got in that video though, so he's had time to think things through :P They both sound similar to Thom Yorke in interviews, another INFP.

What made me think E is Jeffrey's known for his outrageous drug fueled behavior and extravagant outgoing personality, but maybe that was due to all the drugs he was taking. The guy used to walk around in makeup and lipstick when he was in his twenties, his hair is actually an attempt to mimic Deborah Harry, a friend of his :P

but the rest of Blondie hated Jeffrey :D

Meh INFP is probably the best bet. He also wanted to be an author, and despite the fact that it doesn't show he was well read in litterature and history. He would read maps and shit.

Another pal of his was Nick Cave, here's him talking about Pierce:

Following the release of The Journey Is Long, Cave agreed to participate in an interview with Gun Club biographer Gene Temesy, who planned to use the interview in a future book on the history of The Gun Club. During the interview, which was published on the Australian web-based publication Mess and Noise, Cave disclosed aspects of his relationship with Pierce and first described their initial encounter: "Yeah, I think we went to see Under The Volcano. And then we retired back to my place. I think Henry Rollins might have been there as well actually. Jeffrey and I sat around and took loads of drugs and watched Henry do push-ups."[14] Cave then described his perspective of Pierce in further detail:

He had a thing about the Vietnam War, for some reason. He was very well read on the subject. And dinosaurs. He talked a lot about dinosaurs. Dinosaurs and the Vietnam war, I think, were his two major topics of conversation … and Japanese horror movies ... I mean, with Jeffrey, you pretty much entered his world when you saw him. His obsessions crawled all over him. But in Jeffrey’s world, sometimes it was very inspiring and illuminating and other times it was painful and depressing. But Jeffrey did make efforts to stay on top of all that sort of stuff. But I think it was very difficult for him ... Jeffrey very often didn’t make sense. That was part of his charm. Jeffrey was full of digressions. I think that was very much part of his character. Jeffrey digressed a lot. One minute he’d be talking about the fall of Saigon and the next minute he’d be talking about the size of a dinosaur’s brain. But I didn’t care I was just happy somebody was talking to me. You just kind of sat back and nodded and listened ... But Jeffrey, a beautiful thing about Jeffrey was that he was able to move outside that and connect on some other level to people … I mean, things like with Luke, my kid, and stuff like that. He genuinely cared about other people. He was very genuine. And you know, I loved him very much. And I think he was a great songwriter. And had a great unique voice. The way he sung [sic] up high like that and slightly off key was enough to tear your heart out.[14]

Sounds pretty INFP?

Jeffrey was about as immature as you can get most of the time, it's just that as he got older his body was getting really worn out from all the drugs and alcohol, so he was trying to slow down so as to not die. Of course that failed and he died at 36 from a brain hemorrhage, the obduction showed he was Hiv positive, had hepatit c, and chronic cirrhosis.

I kinda love him more than any other artist, cause just look at the guy, can you give less fucks?

Well, it's hard to type him because drugs change the way you act, and a lot in his case.

But my guess is on ENFP because his sound changed from record to record and he always seemed to somehow go with the times even though he never got that famous or successful, he did jazzstuff, did shit with Burroughs, liked a lot of different things and seemed to go through obsession after obsession. Also, in another interview, a much earlier one, he praises REM!!! Can't bother to find it though.

I reckon ASPERGERS? Jeffrey Lee Pierce was a musical genius who despite having influenced many later, more materially 'successful' bands [inc. friend Nice Cave, & Kurt/Nirvana via Pixies < Francis was a Gun Club fan] is often overlooked by those who don't seek outside 'mainstream'. Even after 45yrs hearing many wonderful talented singers, JLP remains my ultimate No1, check out 'Miami'. Or any of his work really. I find Intro/extra doesn't work; people are a mix, I could never fit those tests, but I now believe Asperger's does fit many - Cobain, Love, Dusty Springfield, Yorke, Stipe, Marilyn Monroe, CS Lewis, Marie Curie, etc - Obviously not all ASD are famous genius, but I strongly suspect most famous genius are ASD! The strange, awkward & life-enhancing types, at odds with & mocked by NT world yet who illuminate that world for ALL of us. *Many use drink, drugs to feel at ease with, buffer against an alien environment, which does confuse type definition.

*[Cherry Cola; Nick Cave speaking of Jeffrey Lee Pierce] < Actually that 2012 interview made me believe JLP had Asperger's! Speaks ASD to me, as does much I've read / seen of his life, & his comment on a fan's copy of Miami, 'They don't understand & they never will'. Or maybe I'm reading into it what I want to

"He also wanted to be an author and despite the fact that it doesn't show he was well read in litterature and history. He would read maps and shit." JLP was an author, his poems, lyrics & bio. were collected in Go Tell the Mountain 'though he died before it was fully completed. I also reckon JLP was more well read than most, had that driven curiosity for books, music & films, current obsessions (ASD), often outside the mainstream, which in turn fired his imagination & writing. 'Under The Volcano' also inspired a trip to Mexico with 'Congo. He started as a [Reggae] music journalist & later taught himself Katakana, Hiragana and Kanji, components of the Japanese writing system; certainly as qualified as any who write books!

'rest of Blondie hated Jeffrey'- Hope not. Chris Stein produced Miami, criticised it's 'light' mix but still 1 of my fave albums. The young JLP emulated Harry, as she'd emulated Monroe, he ran a Blondie fanclub, traveled to New York, succeeded in meeting his idol & became friends. Harry gave him tips on how to bleach his hair like hers & sang backing on some Miami tracks, credited as D.H. Lawrence Jr

'Pierce would offset his health-threatening booze intake with a unique fitness regime.
Mori: “He’d sit in the pub in this incredible pink jogging suit & have 3 large white wines before running around Holland Park a few times. I used to go with him. Once he was running in that pink jogging suit past 3 blokes sitting on a bench. I guess they recognised him ’cause they said, ‘Alright Jeffrey!’. He got really embarrassed.” - I LOVE him :love:
