Great music all, in case you haven't been Dimashed yet... Kazakhstan's favourite son. Six octaves of technical excellence:

Thanks crippli, personally I found it a little repetitive after the first hour... maybe two. However some of the clearly inefficient choices, rotations and hesitation by the player for simple decisions was a lot more irritating. I mean that loss at 3:33:59 was just disappointing and easily avoidable... what was that pink block at 3:33:42! daydreaming? toilet break? Focus man, focus! That sort of strategic mistake costs the lives of thousands of fine young men and women, and months of sweat and tears at the front line.

yeah, good points, at the end of the day a simple tune is relaxing. sometimes I feel i deserve a tune that tingles even more. Like this.

Love your link above. What range in one voice. Amazing.

But still. The simplicity of the tune as something like Tetris gets me every time I come across it. Not sure why.

Very much approve of Jacob's Piano crippli, he inspired me to get an electric piano... not that I have got very far, being an Se invalid and all, quadratic equations are more an INTPs thing, but try we must.

How about something a little old school, rock n roll?

I love it. Sounds like a second degree equation. But how that relates to tunes is behond me. But I will find out! This is new to me. Is it the ryhem? I feel shelthered.

Everybody loves this tune, I'm just reminding you of its existence:

And who can forget this scene in Ex-Machina?

A little synopsis: Nathan (Oscar isaac), rips up Ava's (AI) painting. Caleb is brought to the island to go through Turing tests with Ava and develops an affinity for her. Ava tells caleb that nathan is a bad guy and Caleb sees on the camera than Oscar visits Ava and rips up her painting.

Caleb is blonde:

I spent a bit of time thinking about all of the adults that raised me, and I realized I picked up almost every toxic coping mechanism. feelsbad.
I didnt realize how fucked up things were, until I looked at it from the perspective of my younger self being a person I cared about.

contrast the following:
Simon & Garfunkel - I Am A Rock

"I Am A Rock"

A winter's day
In a deep and dark December
I am alone
Gazing from my window
To the streets below
On a freshly fallen, silent shroud of snow
I am a rock
I am an island

I've built walls
A fortress, steep and mighty
That none may penetrate
I have no need of friendship
Friendship causes pain.
It's laughter and it's loving I disdain.
I am a rock
I am an island

Don't talk of love
Well, I've heard the words before
It's sleeping in my memory
And I won't disturb the slumber
Of feelings that have died
If I never loved, I never would have cried
I am a rock
I am an island

I have my books
And my poetry to protect me
I am shielded in my armor
Hiding in my room
Safe within my womb
I touch no one and no one touches me
I am a rock
I am an island

And a rock feels no pain
And an island never cries

vs.
Warning - Footprints

I am not feeling the green burning flame
As I gaze back along footprints you have made
I am not dreaming of more than you have shown
You are not a foundation
You are not a stone

But I'm afraid of the way that I'm feeling;
Afraid of this new understanding now;
Afraid for the beauty within me
And that which I hold within my hand
And this is the ultimate secret
That many before me have ever known
So capture me while I am weakest
I want to know
I want to know

Here I am wide open, surrendering to your side
I have laid down my armour
I have no sword at my side
I leave behind me the ruins of the fortress I swore to defend;
I leave behind me foundations
I'll leave you a man I'll need you to mend
And through all the battles around me
I never believed I would fight
Yet here I stand, a broken soldier
Shivering and naked in your winter light

(ad lib drunk translation)

A horese accuses

1919

I pulled my carriage
despite of my weakness
I made it to the Frankfurter Allee,
where i think to myself, ay me!
This weakness...
If i let go of myself,
it might happen that i collapse,
ten minutes later only my bones were found on the street.

Because as soon as i collapsed,
the coachman ran to the telephone.
And out of the houses poured upon me the hungry people
to claim a pound of flesh,
ripping apart with knives from my bones.

And i was alive and not yet done with dying.

But i knew them from before, those people.
They brought me sacks against the flies.
Gave me old bread
and urged my coachman not to be too cruel towards me.

Once before, so gentle and so hostile today...
All of a sudden they seemed to be exchanged.
Oh, what happened to them?

I asked myself, what kind of coldness must have befallen those people?
Who is battering them so hard that they become solidified?
Won't somebody help them?
Do it soon,
or something's going to happen that you never have imagined.
