It occurred to me some time ago that if you take two types where the only difference is intuition or sensing, then the intuitive type does with ideas and concepts what the corresponding sensing type does with tangible objects and immediate situations. Here's my explanation.
Pardon how I wrote more about types with primary/secondary Ti, it's because I understand them better.
ExFJ - Harmonizers
ESFJs work to meet concrete needs of a group are met to ensure harmony. ENFJs use their strong rhetorical skills to unite people with common ideals.
ExFP - Looking for fun
ESFPs "live in the moment," and do whatever will bring the most immediate pleasure to them and their friends. ENFPs toy with different ideals and gravitate towards the ones that fit best with their morals. They are usually very optimistic about how the world could be.
ExTJ - Bosses
ESTJs have an inclination to manage labor and resources to meet the immediate needs of their organization. ENTJs set ever increasing goals, set plans, and manage their environment to achieve them.
ExTP - Badasses
ESTPs are bold with their actions. They often engage in risky behavior, and are constantly seeking the rush of defeating a competitor. They tend to have a bold charm in their interaction with other people. ENTPs are bold with their ideas. They like discuss the more controversial parts of their ideologies, and often deliberately make their positions seem unpalatable to their opponents, which makes it all the more satisfying if they "win" the argument. Like the ESTP, their boldness can often charming, though in a weird way.
IxFJ - Nurturers
ISFJs maintain their environment in a nurturing manner, doing what "needs to be done" to meet the group's needs and maintain harmony. INFJs like to mentor others and nurture them with kindness and ideals.
IxFP - Feelers
ISFPs are often artistically inclined and have a strong emotional appreciation for beauty, whether it be musical, aesthetic, or dramatic. INFPs have very strong moral ideals and they let their feelings guide their ideas. They always love to find peace, harmony, and benevolence in the world.
IxTJ - Achievers
With their strong sense of duty, ISTJs scan their environment for problems and do whatever "needs to be done." With the INTJ, rather than taking cues from their immediate situation, they start with an end goal in their head, and follow complex plans to make them a reality.
IxTP - Professionals
Most ISTPs have some degree of mastery for a physical art, whether it be mechanics, sports, martial arts, etc. Often, ISTPs (e.g. Bruce Lee, Rodney Mullen) eschew structured techniques in their art so that they can react most efficiently to any particular situation. As masters of theory, INTPs have a nearly unparalleled ability to analyze ideas for pitfalls or inconsistencies, or come up with practical solutions to theoretical problems. From what I've seen, xNTPs usually avoid political labels or structured ideologies, opting for theoretical solutions to problems on a case-by-case basis.
