I see that you haven't read many interactions between the two types on internet forums. It wouldn't work out for anyone.
Honestly, I'm not sure if sticking NTPs and NTJs in the same "temperament" (Keirsey's) just because we have the NT in common is a good idea. I get along with and can often...
I don't care what society does. It's the fact that we have no choice but to behave like good little SJ worker drones for 99% of our lives, unless we're extremely lucky. And you will always be measured by how good of an SJ you are (never by how good an INTP you are or anything like that)
Describes my experience perfectly. But I have been there almost 2 years. Every shift, I'm surprised I haven't been fired for, well, being an INTP in ESxJ land. But there's really nothing else for jobs here...
You are stoned at work and nobody notices?
Re: Ideal MBTI female companion for a male INTP
How often are we talking, here?
Anyway, types I have been known to get along with: NTP, ISTP, NFs of various kinds... But I don't really have much relationship history to extrapolate from, just past friendships.
Ah, the joys of being an INTP.
You make this whole sex/orgy thingamabob sound so simple. :) (I thought that you were saying the author of the stupid book was giving this advice at first)
What might an analyst actually do? I tried googling analyst but it wasn't helpful.
Taking things apart and analyzing them appeals to me much more than building silly things, though.
