Cloning human ancestors and similar species.

A homo erects foetus could definitely grow inside a mother today, we are sufficiently biologically similar. It's more likely ethical and political issues that are holding it back now, as I can't imagine scientists not having found the DNA of these guys. Edit: we have DNA of Neanderthals and...

    What is a choice?

I personally think a choice is a selection of one out of multiple options. Ergo it doesn't necessarily have to happen consciously, however these are the most interesting types of choices in general. Perhaps we could refer to choice and conscious choice?

    What is a choice?

While I'm no fan of Freud, his ideas are a useful starting point here: While we have the choice to make, we may not alway make it consciously, e.g. due to biological impulses.

    Academic Psychology

Despite debate over the scientific nature of the subject (in many senses, it is really pseudoscience), I still think it is strongly grounded in actual mental functioning; it would be nice if it was more cleanly and clearly investigated by the psychological community though.

In any case, even if it is pseudoscience, many feel like (and this is often the case) it has helped them come to pertinent psychological conclusions, and perhaps led them to a better understanding of themselves, as well as granting perspective on society.
