Joker is one of the biggest examples of an ENTP I have ever seen.
Harley Quinn, I am not sure. I would guess ENFP, but I am just not confidant about it. Nevertheless, HQ is hilarious.
I assume the administration here is a lot more loose then the admin team I work with, so I'll likely be seen as too strict. I am simply bothered by the fact that the avatar pictures can be so damn big. I think they should be regulated to be a certain size. Either way, I think you should censor...
It makes me wanna break shit (and I often succeed).
I tried to flush spoons down my friends toilet once, and thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. I was promptly tackled into the bathtub after I flushed (nothing went down).
I thank you for this link. It appears it has quite a different setup to last.fm's predictors (which I have exausted more or less). A lot of the stuff is kinda not a good matchup, but there is enough for me to find use in it. Starting with this newfound artist: Bitcrush
Note 1: I put this in the psychology section even though it involves music.
Note 2: I originally posted this back in january on the INFJf but no one ever responded. I feel it might get more response here (I did edit and clarify a few things).
OP on 1-30-10:
Music seems to be central to...
I think the forer effect is in effect with a lot of people here. Everyone has a "questioning phase" or two once they begin to look at the inner workings of MBTI; it's a bumpy road. MBTI is NOTRIOUS for having huge forer effects, which is where a lot of the errors come from.
I actually do this all the time. Of course, I'm INFJ so that is why. I hate arguments and seem them as largely useless, and strive to find common ground. If the other person refuses, I walk away and or shut it down.
An undeveloped INFJ is a scary sight. The problem with them, as you pointed out, is they will be completely unaware of their problems, because they think they are aware of it. Hindsight is 20/20, and that usually is what snaps them out of things. Ni actually needs to step away from things and be...
I largely do not care to play or watch most sports. With one huge exception. SKIING! I LOVE to ski. I am very much a winter person, and love almost everything about it. It is just so much fun to me. I go as many times as I possibly can every season.
This is my mountain. Bridger Bowl, Montana:
I think I can explain why. A lot of this appears to come from a lack of understanding. Also from experience leading to dislike. For one Ni will appear very alien to INTP's, and will likely feel like a violation of their Ne processes. This is because while Ne is traceable, and it is something you...
Electronic music is definintely my genre of choice (trip-hop is a very very close second). Here are some tracks that I find particularly good. Not exactly the standard run of the mill electronic, but it is such a diverse genre. I will just stick to three reccomendations though because I truly...
It depends. I will feel bad if the person I was against, who lost, ended up really having a much stronger desire to win then I myself had. I really avoid putting myself in situations where people are in win/lose situations (I am one of the most risk adverse people on the planet), so I don't have...
That's pretty typical. While I can't explain it really, I completely understand why she did what she did. I do not know her so it is possible she could have been a charleton of sorts.
Also, no psychic I know, not a single one (and I know many) will stand up to such challenges. I empathzise why...
I do agree, and the bold I really agree with. I was more or less referring to good use of the inferior function. I sort of disregard bad use of a function as "use" because it just creates discord more often then not. As such when I said it was very uncommon, I was more or less referring to the...
Actually, I really dislike indie music.
I am a last.fm fiend, this is my profile: http://www.last.fm/user/DiffusionOfTime
I mostly listen to trip-hop, electronic, downtempo, and IDM stuff.
When you are in the process of growing up, it is not out of the question to appear as different types them the type you currently are. The thing is, as you grow up, your brain is quite plastic and has the abillity to morph and change. I am very much on the nature side of the nurture vs. nature...
I'm INFJ, but I am somewhat inbetween procrastination. For the most part I don't procrastinate. Some things I will push back quite far, other things I will get done extremely early. There is one common theme, I am never late with anything, and I have an absoulute coniption fit I am late (in any...
It's quite rare for a person (independent of their type) to have a heavy use of their inferior function. Simply by the nature of INFP's I think they would be some of the least common out of all the types to begin to work on their inferior function. In actuality, it is more likely that having a...
Maybe I'll catch more attention with this over here. You INTP's seem to be more into gaming for the most part:
So, in 6.5 hours, Starcraft 2 will be released in my current timezone. It has already been released in some parts of the world, and is currently in the process of being released in...
The possibillites are endless really. I just observe those to be the most two common. Also keep in mind I haven't been on an INTP forum before, and am largely going by what I have seen on my board. The sample size is small, but large enough to notice a pattern.
My research goals in ochem are to just enjoy it really. I am endlessly fascinated by organic, and have been for a long time now. There is something elegant about it.
It was a bunch of you mentioning this place over there. Curiosity got the better me.
Also, I am actually not one to get...
From what I have noticed, it seems like there are two major "subtypes" (if you can call it that) for INTP's. There is a big chunk that score very high on I and N, and are generally lower with T and P. Then there is another group that generally scores very high on T and the rest is a mixed bag...
Hello,
So the power of suggestion has gotten the better of me. I have heard this forum mentioned in several places several times over the past week or so I decided to show up. I'm IndigoSensor (some people call me indy). Some of you might know me from the INFJ forum (naturally, I am an INFJ)...
