Each day I think of 20 or over (possibly even more.. I don't keep count) legitimate, new ideas for science fiction novels. I don't record them because I don't plan to actually pursue them. I do like to write—essays, poems and such—but working on lengthy novels, at least physically, seems like a drag. I don't mind doing so mentally; it's personally more convenient and obviously quicker. It's like there's a typewriter inside my head that creates the story as I think and revise it. I actually have a secret but impossible aspiration because I don't have the patience, of becoming like Isaac Asimov, with hundreds of written sci-fi and science books.
Is this strange at all or common and I wasn't aware of it, at least amongst writers and SF fans? Is this INTP-like in any way? Do you do this too or something similar?
