Do we have that many observers? People intimidated by us or something? Perhaps I shouldn't be that confused; would be very INTP to passively observe, I guess.

Which makes me wonder- what is compelling us to talk here?

As far as being compelled to talk goes, I'd put that down to boredom, or the ability to (finally) converse with people on the same level/brainwave.

I find this forum compelling because if I were to talk to people about what I talk about here, most people at a public high school wouldn't know what I'm talking about. I usually have to restrict my "intellectual" talk to my college friends, that I don't get to see too often, and here.

Saying stuff that is worth saying is quite liberating.
