A Year Older

I just found out one of those people whose names I actually remember on forums and feel a weird sense of respect and admiration towards is only (edit: two) year(s) older than me?!

Insert a great flood of unimportance and lack of potential on my emotions.

Now I will probably go back to my stopping by once in a blue moon to lurk and feel disgruntled at how annoying it is that I don't stay logged in on this website.

I decided to just throw this thread is the Oubliette since it belongs in such a place. Do not mind me.

Age doesn't matter quite so much in here except those of us who ARE older simply have more horror stories to share to help younger folks avoid what can be avoided.

Wisdom and insight don't start at a certain age. I am unable to think of any teenagers in here who DON'T contribute interesting material, and I have a alot of respect for them. So don't let it become an issue for you.

On an astronomical timescale, age differences of 20, 40, or even 100 years hardly even register.

I do not differentiate between those I respect and those I don't, but between those I respect and those I don't know well enough to respect them.
Anyway, why should you respect people because of they are older? Me, I tend to prefer people who are very slightly younger than me.

age isnt real...noone knows true age because its based on biology. what is my biological age? im 18 but look slightly older. That must be why all these older college girls talk to me in class, and why my baseball team asks me if im a freshmen..and i can hit the ball about 6,000 feet.

Age isn't real lol? I think you mean it's only important because we (as a society) choose to make it so. If you do think that I agree. I don't think people should be given privileges just because they have existed on Earth for so many days, such an arbitrary (and absurd) rule.

And dude, btw, CAPITALIZE on your situation. Invite the girls to a postgame party.
