Hey

We all have these "Oh God Why" moments thinking back on our little Fe guest appearances in our past. Especially when it has overstayed it's welcome.

I was wondering if you think those instances help develop Fe?

It's just that all my experiences with Fe are associated with awkwardness and are at least partially repressed.

Of my displays of Fe, it has either been me overreacting (while in an already emotional state) due to my Ne cooking up all kinds of mischief, my Ti unable to 100% prove it as an impossible occurrence, and the realization that the worst-case scenario could actually be possible (when in reality, it is about as likely as a pig falling from the sky...but still possible).

Or, it is Fe pestering my inner world where it may seep outside of its cage to bother my thoughts, but no to my facial expressions or actions. That is a completely separate cage...under much tighter security.

I can't say if these instances help develop Fe, but they definitely help us know our Fe, an learn to control it in the future. So yes, I think they help you develop as a person, but I think it's more that you're learning to control your Fe with your Ti.

Well I believe they give us good data. Whether you learn from them or not is another story.
