This 100% describes my entire academic career, from where I thrive to where I fail miserably. It's a shame that school systems don't seem to be particularly 'concrete random' learner friendly. If they were, I'd probably be the best student ever.

You should look into the Gregorc learning styles if you've never heard of them. I find that I greatly prefer it to the whole visual, auditory or kinesthetic learning ordeal.

I imagine that many of you can relate to the description in the link. Opinions?

The link described me pretty accurately. I like the way that was written, and I think it's definitely quite accurate as to how to approach that type of learner. First impression is that there's substance to this system.

A perfect analogy to illustrate differences in type. Wonder what other types are concrete random and which are abstract sequential?

Easy to tell who concrete sequential learners are, what a bore.

I'm abstract random (INFJ). There probably is some correlation between personality types and learning styles. ENTP could easily fit the concrete random...
