Hell my name is Keegan and I'm an INTP. (Hi Keegan.)

I like hugs, prolonged eye contact, and loud conversations about the merits of homeopathic medicine with people I do not know.

Dohoho! So funny.

I'm an 18 year old male in the state of North Carolina. I like video games, TVtropes, minecraft, D&D, physics, chemistry, computer science, psychology, linguistics, etymology, and reading (Are there people who dislike reading?).

I chose the name Keegan_A because it is my first name and last name initial. I'm usually good at making up names that aren't as dull but it's too late now.

I hope in the future to be able to converse with a perfect AI or, failing that, download myself in to the internet.

DID YOU KNOW THERE'S AN ANCIENT CHINESE TECHNIQUE FOR CURING CANCER WITH MAGNETS!?!?!?

Seriously though, there are people who hate reading. I met a girl in college who would brag about having never actually finished a book.

I like you already. Or maybe I just like these things. Hard to tell.

Confounded magnets, how do they function?

Why would you brag about not reading anything? That's just... awful. :phear:

Are you implying that INTPf is Hell? We don't believe in the concept of "Hell" here. Welcome anyway.

I hope in the future to be able to... download myself in to the internet.
I'd love to be able to do something like this(might be slow to load).

Confounded magnets, how do they function?
This was an epic meme. I laughed for days at the video.

Homeopathy?!

I mean, if you have to put faith on something to work, it clearly doesn't work.

Welcome to the forums, I say. :D

A typo in my first post! So embarrassing.

I liked that episode. Someone needs to fund something along those lines. I wonder what the imageboards would look like in virtual reality... Actually, I think i'd rather not know.

Also, homeopathy is extremely valid if you enjoy paying $20 dollars for 12 milligrams of what amounts to Nerds candy, as was the case with the Oscillococcinum that was purchased for me!

Certain electrons spinning in certain directions are at a more stable state if they are aligned with other electrons. They will therefore expand energy if they are able to force other electrons into alignment.

That's basically it.

Welcome to INTPf, Keegan! *gives hug*
Seems like we share a lot of interests, not least our love of hugs and loud conversations about the merits of homeopathic medicine. :)

Clearly the Willy Wonka Company or whatever food conglomerate megacorp owns them needs to make homeopathic Nerds. Then they can mark up their high fructose corn syrup-based confection even more! Surely no one ever died of that inert ingredient. :rip:

If homeopathy worked, there would sure be a lot of diseases caused by dinosaur feces, decayed remains of ancient plants (the oil is out to get us!), dead protozoa, cyanobacteria, and the like. Etc. They don't seem to think about the conservation of mass much, do they?

I'm surprised the Scientologists aren't claiming that Thetans are in everything, including food that hasn't been purified by one of whatever they call their priest equivalent. They could make an equivalent of Kosher/Halal food, calling it de-Thetanized food or something, and mark that up for exorbitant prices as well!

Welcome to INTPf.

Hey, guys, I think there was more.

Well, coincidentally, I'm a huge fan of homoeopathic treatment. But I always scare away other members when I attempt to put drugs in their food. I usually sneak up behind them and THROW it at them which make them run squealing for the shower whilst shouting something about abuse or something. Nobody likes me =(

What? You're trying to say that nerds and tic-tacs aren't healthy? And here I thought they were the tastiest placebos I had ever taken. Btw I say that placebos should be considered as a valid form of medication because they do affect the state of mind of the person taking them and thusly can have a positive health outcome. Also they have been known to be prescribed by doctors to be 'taken twice daily with water' in cases where the patient is suspected of having chronic dehydration.
Therefore, I think that there are no issues with taking candy as a replacement for sugar tablets as long as you can convince yourself that they are doing something.
