I joined INTP Forum today, because INTP Central is down, and I have been curious about how this site is different. Looking over the thread categories, I'm happy to see one for Websites of Interest. I've already been making use of tastekid.com, which I discovered there. So a little about myself.
I have known I'm an INTP for nearly 30 years. I took the MBTI at a young age, because my father became certified to administer it, and I initially scored as an INTJ. The description seemed to fit, but as I became more familiar with the Myers-Briggs system, I came to realize that I'm an INTP, not an INTJ. My first clue was the disarray I normally left my room in. But I also came to realize that I prefer Ti, Ne, Si, and Fe in that order. Having known my type for so long, I have used knowledge of type to better focus on what I need to develop. My use of Si and Fe has sometimes led people at INTP Central to question my identity as an INTP, but they remain tertiary and inferior.
I discovered the Enneagram in the early 90's, and I have identified my Enneagram type as 5w4. There were times when I thought I might be something else, but in time I settled on 5w4.
I normally post under my real identity instead of anonymously, which allows me to say more about myself. I have my Ph.D. in philosophy, having written my dissertation on evil. My main hobbies are computer programming and Chess variants, which I combined together by creating Game Courier, which lets you play numerous Chess variants online, including several of my own invention. I have also programmed a Myers-Briggs test called The Duniho and Duniho Life Pattern Indicator. I also have a YouTube channel, in which I've mainly made videos on Chess variants and on how I exercise as a handicapped person.
My current avatar here, subject to change, is a piece from one of my games, the artwork being mine, but the piece originally coming from a commercial game called Smess.
