I want a work in some distant place, for a time.

Rough data: I'm an architect with a lot of intellectual ambitions but at the time I am trapped in a meager office job with no future and unemployment hanging on the air. Come latter next year I'm starting my studies in a masters degree in advanced architecture, in Barcelona and I am hoping this to be my door to start realizing my plans.

However I am bored of office and city life and in the meantime I want to make some money (because I need it, not because I crave it) someplace else, anywhere. I'm not American, so the Peace Corps are out. Somebody I know suggested I should do hired gun work at a PMC since I know some CQC and weapons use, but I have already ruled that one out. (although I DID give it some thought, I must say)

Anyone knows of some international agency or something? Some organization making field research? Logistics? Anything?

I would look on google, but I really don't know where to start, and I'm too tired right now, I actually need to catch some sleep.

Thanks.

Yes, but most of the ones I know of are looking for engineering, technology or medical workers. I do a lot of work with EWB (Engineers without Borders). I believe their preferred engineering flavor is civil, so you could look into their chapter-based work to see if you could do something structural. They have field implementation trips, but the composition of these field teams are determined largely by participation in the developmental stages. You might want to look for a local chapter to see if they're doing any projects relevant to your skillset and interests.

In addition to this avenue, Peace Corps does do some work at the local level in developping nations with technical work, so if you've had (formal?) experience with technology implementation and education you could try for this as well. I notice that what you've stated is more along the lines of a permanent position and salaried work, but if you're willing to get knee deep in these organizations it could lead to some permanent position. Additionally, many larger design firms have international offices where you could be relocated (and compensated) to work. I'd assume that they'd want the best and brightest (and most linguistically efficient) to represent them abroad, however, so it'd be quite the race for a position.

For starters, I think it would be best to decide what sort of company you'd like to work for, and where you'd like to do said work. Best of luck, though! I've still a year in the trenches, but I also look forward to working abroad.

EDIT: Sorry, didn't see the PeaceCorps bit in your post > < disregard that.
