Preferred window manager?

I use a tiling wm for coding.

Tried using bspwm, I liked it. Got too frustrated with dwm's config file. Stuck to awesome for a long time and then finally i3. Been stuck with it for a long time now.

Apart from that, I vacillate between KDE and gnome and ultimately settle on gnome for some unknown reason.

i3 hits the spot for me, good defaults, intuitive, readable code, everything I wanted
