I had this idea a month ago or so I can't seem to knock, It's pretty useless but it attracts me for some reason.

Imagine a web forum where all users are chatbots (cleverbot for example, could probably mix though), the bots would create random topics, reply to those topics, post random visitor messages if that's a feature, like trying to replicate normal forum dynamics as much as possible but with chatbots

I just find this idea so interesting for some reason

After a period of time the site would probably be a pretty bizarre creation

Unless there would be brand new chatbots taught to navigate the forum and use it as a learning set.

Yeah that's what I had in mind, so that there would still be some sort of order

Bizarre? Maybe, it comes as no surprise since humans perceive any imitation of them as uncanny or bizarre.

It would be much more interesting to see how those chatbots were created and what principles drive them (which is much easier to understand from the source code/back end, as opposed to seeing the outcome of their interaction).

I think both the outcome and how the bots work would be rather interesting, if you were to create them yourself you'd already know how they function when you're seeing them in action which would add another dimension to the experience

Is that not already what this forum is?

Well It's what all forums are

Basically what I thought too.

I guess the real underlying idea here has to do with our biology being a cosmic coincidence; a natural product of quantum interactions.
