The firm sent me a notification that this was not working well: so updated the plug-in.
[ Fortunately the old version has to be completely uninstalled first instead of taking the simple way and only overwriting, giving one the opportunity to remove the extension, then firing up FTP to make sure one takes out 2 different sets of files; then installing anew... ]
