I'm sure most of you have heard of it, but Twitter is a social networking site which allows people to stay "hyper-connected" with minute to minute messages/updates.

I just looked at the site and I can't tell if it's worth the time yet. I don't know anyone on it either =/ So, anyone have a Twitter? Is it fun or just boring after a while? Should INTPs take over the Twitter world?

I am familiar with twitter but I can't understand the fascination with it. If an INTP posted every thought/action don't you think it might be a bit weird. Something like this.

Got out of bed and could not find any thing to wear so i just dug for something interesting out of the dirty laundry.

Ate fruit loops for breakfast and contemplated how it is possible for two morbidly obese people to have sex.

My plans for taking over the world was interrupted by some one coming to the door. Oh goody it's my new hard drive!! spent the next half hour installing it.

went to check my e-mail and 3 hours later I was done on the computer---I got a little distracted.

Boyfriend called and I told him that he was obtuse urchin and then had to wait for him to look this up in the dictionary before his rebuttal. (ooh is that too mean?)

went to fridge for sustenance but found nothing with a recent sell by date. Went out for pizza. I would have prefered crab cakes but I have lost my apitite for local seafood after contemplating what happened to all the bodys of the missing persons who might have gotten swept out to sea durring the hurricane.

Contemplated how cool it would be to have a biological skin as the body of my car. missed turn, got lost, found a really cool electronics store.

Started a new poem, it goes "Ask not for whom the bell tolls. Pavlov's dog salivate for you" the rest is too dark to post.

Contemplated what it would be like to live in an alternate uneverse. woke up, it was morning. Ahh a good nights sleep.

anyway you sort of get it. They might get a little weirded out.

Are we so desensitized to active intrusion into our lived that as long as they veil the intrusion in false sense of choice that we are no longer opposed?

I have enough issues with paranoia already, thank you very much. I have no need nor desire to know or share in the collective thoughts of what is already an abomination of information storage.

(And no, don't think the irony of these statements in the light of participation on this board have escaped me.)

I think most intps don't do twitter. I personally think of it as a complete waste of time. Posting tiny, insignificant posts every goddamned half hour? "ate breakfast" "went to the restroom" "Got bored in the elevator"... who cares about that? and what do I get by posting them? I don't see why people are so obsessed over it... o_O
