I used to think you were an ass when I first got on here. You can be overly harsh sometimes.

If it prompts people to actually study the subjects they're commenting on, I have achieved what I wanted to do.

Because people are so quick to dismiss a far-fetched idea, ignorant people are treated as less-than, I just needed a self-imposed break from the forum (I do the same thing with Facebook when I get too into it), and some of the most active members seem to think being an ass is an INTP character trait. I digress, I guess you guys will have to put up with me forever

Theoretically, you could lock yourself out of your own account by doing the following:

Click 'User CP'.
Click 'Edit e-mail and password'.
Enter your current password. Then bang on your keyboard to produce a long, random, unmemorizable new password. Cut and paste it into the 'Confirm new password' box and then click 'Save changes'.

Click 'Log out'. You should now be effectively, and permanently locked out of your account.

But it also has hidden characters. 20 or so random keystrokes should do the trick.

If he's got a keyboard that supports more than 4 (or is it 3?) simultaneous keystrokes, the field would fill up pretty damn quick...
