Honestly, I came to this forum because I recently got banned from RevLeft, where I was restricted to the OI section, and I can rarely talk to anyone I know in person about anything that interests me.

I guess I'm mostly interested in economics and politics, though I wouldn't do any formal study in that unless I already had a good-paying job. For now, I'm confident enough with educated guessing and discussion-based learning. I hope to have some good discussions here.

Yeah, I was restricted to the Opposing Ideologies (OI) section, since I believe in free-market capitalism. And yes, I did have some pretty kickass debates while I was there. In case you're wondering, my username was Primagen.

I'd imagine the point of a Leftist Forum is to talk about Leftist ideas. I am not surprised by the reactions. I am on various religious forums, while I am not religious, because I like to learn about their point of views. They don't isolate or remove me because I stick to the point of the forum.

If you want a more well rounded ideology accepting political forum for such discussion and love kickass debates, I would suggest www.PoliticalForum.com. If you like to share, talk about world things, some (INTP) personal issues, learn about MBTI/INTP, and philosophy, this is a good place. It is a great format for discussion but debate is... maybe not the same debate you are referring to...? Maybe we will see.

Personally, I have not felt like politics has been strong topic here. Maybe as LOR seemed to be indicating, there is a lack of opposing views.

Ahhh... RevLeft. I have long been a follower of that website, it is literally comedy gold to see how brainwashed some people have become thanks to the frankfurt school theory being taught in universities and produced for mass consumption delivered via the media.

I'm listing my whiteness not because I'm proud of it or because I strongly identify with it in any sense, but just because when talking about social oppressions like womanhood, transness, or queerness, it's important to acknowledge how my whiteness and subsequent privilege interacts in that. Thanks. I have to say, if you are a fascist, I'm surprised there isn't more political debate here. Then again, I suppose it depends what you mean by "fascist." A couple years ago, I was banned from Ironmarch.org for the same reason. I didn't agree with the Hindu-traditionalist totalitarians much, mostly because their views were based on their weird-ass religious beliefs, and like the communists, their ideologies are based on their own moral principles without regard to any practical considerations.

Though I've yet to meet a fascist I'd say I agree with, some of the ones I've talked to had some reasonable views IMO, though last time I checked, all the ones on IronMarch have been banned. But they're entitled to their opinions, and my only real complaint is that the head admin Alexander Slavros is a huge ban-happy intellectual coward who would close threads after responding to them. He doesn't understand that you learn by confronting your opposition, not by silencing it. Also, I think Julius Evola was a clown.

I found Witchwind to be a prime example of what happens to people who avoid having to defend their views.

Most are libertarian on the test and some are more liberal while only two seemed to be more on the fascist side.



'In my opinion' most INTP's don't claim to have a political affiliation. They believe truth transcends ideology and ideology is restrictive and too close to a belief system as opposed to a system of reason and logic.

As far as "(͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)" not being banned... his post length would indicate he is fairly new. I have not seen him/her talk politics yet.
