However you may call it. Here's some art I made, I'm not sure if you're supposed to make a thread for yourself or not though, it feels kind of arrogant. I hope it's not!

I found your art to be really cool. And indeed, surreal. Also, the colours were really well chosen, IMO. And also, it reminded me of this

Also, welcome to the forum.
Even though i'm doing it in the wrong thread.

Care to explain the meaning and/or sentiment behind each of them?

If you're going to be arrogant at least go all the way ;)

Haha, to be honest I don't really draw anything with a meaning to me, just setting my mind on auto-pilot, so to speak. Except the keep on dreaming one. I'm pretty much always thinking of doing things I'd love to do, but I never actually do them, or they are impossible. I was also feeling really disconnected and anxious at that time, I was lost in my own thoughts so much for 6 months that my mind got tired and I'd feel in a constant daze. For the rest... All those drawings just have a certain atmosphere that I had in mind, either from a dream from the night before or just a certain mindset at the time. Gosh this is harder to explain than I thought.

Wow, these are pretty awesome. What medium do you use? The first few look digital but I see what I think are ink and marker a bit lower down. Anyhow, I'd just like to reiterate that you've used colour wonderfully, though I do believe my favourite is the black and white one.

Do you have a site?

Awesome art. Very psychedelic. A shame I have zero creative talent but I find these awesome.

Materials I use are Flash CS4 digitally, and traditionally I use micron pens and watercolors.

I don't really have a site, I have accounts on Newgrounds(I also make animations, although I haven't released one in a year) and deviantART however.

Thanks!

Psychedelic art is my favorite. I also like how you say you just set your mind on auto pilot, because that is often times how the best art is created. It captures the raw emotions, while bypassing the intellect. It also leaves it open for interpretation; and it could mean different things to different people. Good work.

Thanks man, I love drawing and painting so much.

Oh and something extra some of you will probably appreciate c:
A Sagan portrait made from newspaper cut-outs. It could've turned out better, but oh well. Lack of time, and newspaper sucks.

Do you have visions in your head or do you plan designs?

Also the first one is like futuristic-psychedelic-psychobilly-zombie-for-teenagers?

Sometimes I have visions in my head, sometimes I just start drawing a shape, and it evolves into a drawing. I barely plan designs. I should, though. Working on that.
The first one was some zombie I drew for halloween... The psychobilly thing is just because I like drawing that haircut haha. And retro-futurism and such rocks my socks!

This is awesome. :)

I love your art style.
Thank you!

Nah I suck at drawing/painting. Those are probably one of my best lol I'll try something some other time.

Awesome paintings. Great work with the newspaper too.

The one in the spoiler reminds me of some drawings I've done when I was 11/12/13yo. My drawings weren't as good as yours but just as psychedelic.

Children's drawings are wonderful. It's like looking into the clean, unbiased core of the human being.
