So this is a place for people who think the way I do? I've seen them sometimes in person. Sitting alone, daydreaming about some object they don't know why they picked up, or suddenly looking around on the street, lost in their own shoes. With the universe between their ears, like saying something to them would ruin painstaking calculations.

I guess the bones of it is we INTx's are wired to be wicked smart? I saw a post on here on the lines of "you know you're an intp if..." and then it described my life. Growing up, my folks were more than happy to feed my mind full of science and experience. I joke that I wanted to be an astronaut till I saw Apollo 13, then a Paleontologist till I saw Jurassic Park. As a kid, I got the highest score ever on my school's talented and gifted program entrance test, I can remember just about everything I read and hear (especially if it interests me), blew up the standardized tests, was offered to study genetics abroad and a full ride for Biology. My 18 year old self turned that down to be fiction writer in nyc. Freaking brilliant... I did experience worlds I might never have otherwise. And that's what this life thing is all about, right? right?! right.
After that I was in love for a very long time, then wasn't, then left.
So, I just moved to a new place. This is my 9th state, North Carolina. I don't know how many of you have tried this "making friends" thing, but it's... taxing, might be the best word. I saw beyond the veil and haven't looked back. I can't take the people seriously. At a certain point the detachment is like being behind the glass at a zoo. It's realizing the Bad Girl's Club and Orangutan Island have the exact same premise. I dunno. Gin helps.
Lately I've been fixated on the last ~15 minutes of the movie Revolver. The movie is completely skip-able up to that point, if you're not into crime thrillers, Ray Liotta, or whatever. The whole psychology behind it has kinda done a number of my mode of operation. To bring this thing full circle, I conclude that decisions should no longer be based on what does or doesn't happen in movies.
Anyway, here's another human that struggles with being one. Real original, I know. I'm into science illustration, music, power and chaos, anything nerdy do it up!
Nice to meet you.

Welcome to our dark little corner of the Web. A place of brilliant misfits, the insane and then the occasional sane person. Don't worry, the sane never survive long.

.. How do you feel about Yaoi?

Sanity is like velocity, it depends upon your observational frame of reference.

Very true. In fact, most of the masses seem insane to me.. Does this make me sane?

Welcome. What ever became of your literary ambitions?

Im working on a sci-fi trilogy. Gunning for a Lucas-esque type deal. Half way finished and my characters havent fallen apart yet. A personal best.
