In times of acute stress, doesnt our inferior Fe make us empaths, especially towards negativity...

In times of stress, i have always felt negatively overwhelmed by negative people and negativity... I am starting to wonder has it really my own anger / aggression all along or could it have been theirs my inferior Fe is absorbing ten fold ?

Because in normal times (zero stress) i can just blank peoples negativity and i even take it with a pinch of salt.

Does Fe make us feel what others do in order for us to adapt better to our external environment. Because the more adapted we are, the more we can think like our environment and therefore Ti can exploit potential cracks, weak spots etc.

What do you think ?
And is there a successful way to block such a negative empathy ? Maybe compensating thru the opposite reaction ie positive empathy ie giving hugs ? :-)

So basically, would you say you are internalizing the feelings of the people around you? Fe pretty much sees what people are feeling and reacts to it (being objective or extroverted), whereas an introverted feeler will internalize how other people are acting (being subjective or introverted). I think it makes Fi have an easier time empathizing with other people, but a hard time sympathizing, because one acts mad and domineering when those they empathize with are threatened, whereas the other acts hysterical when they don't agree with or like the way people are feeling.

I'd tell you how to block it, but I always preferred not to. It's helped me build friendships.

Do you mean Fi internalize feelings from people around and feel exactly what they feel (subjective reaction), while Fe internalize feelings from people around without feeling what they feel as such but forces an equal objective reaction ?

In other words, would Fi mimic feelings internally while Fe mimic feelings externally ?

One easy method to compare the attitudes of introversion and extroversion is to think that the introverted attitude is inclined to withdraw, extract, or take away, and the extroverted attitude is inclined to contribute, expand, or influence.

Don't know if this really is relevant or not.

Not sure/care how much this is relevant to the thread ( I think it is), but that's a nice part of function explanation. More clearly defined connections in my understanding of things. Thanks for that.
