I think I got a perfect idea for my sister. She's been a cheap ass all year long, not giving anything to my bro & me for special events and always making her family come last on her list of priorities. It's not out of a lack of money, she's always out drinking with friends and going to the hairdresser and getting false lashes on etc, so...

Since I'm such a kind spirit, I'll buy her something anyway. A pretty dollar store gift box filled with random candies bought at the same place, super unhealthy stuff. Won't be broke, won't be the cheapest person in there ( 95% chances my sister will ), and she's so obsessed with her weight that she either won't eat it, or eat it and feel bad about herself. I seriously hope it won't cost more than 5$

For the rest of my people I'm on a budget, ~50$ and 5 other gifts to find. I thought about painting something for one of them with stuff I already have. Wich might give me a chance to survive, since I'll have a budget of ~12,5$ per person left.

I know this topic has absolutely 0% utility for you. Deal with it I don't have any crazy theories to share :cat:

You just should register an account for her on INTPf, a much better gift- not to mention free.

And this reminds me of the time when my parents insisted on buying marshmellows as a birthday gift for a friend. Yes, a a f***ing bag of marshmellows for a 3rd grade birthday party while everyone else brought toys and whatnot. F***.

The next year you could have given her chocolate and graham crackers, then blamed her for not saving the marshmallows for S'mores.

PS. Your parents are really messed up.

Don't know about my brother but I would love having a remote control R2D2. I'd make the top openable and use it to bring drinks and candies in the theater for Star Wars VII. Damn I ain't payin 6$ for a tiny bag of skittles.

Just joking. But theaters foods & tickets truly are expensive

Traveling > 20 movies a year with popcorn and soda

Lol ! :p Seriously I would like her to sit down and have some thoughts and insights about life, wich INTPf would help her with, but she just isn't that kind of person. There's nothing to do about it. It's fine to be with her a day or two but let us together for a week and wars are declared :phear: She's a fashionable social butterfly who looks down on people who aren't wearing fashionable things and following social rules. I'm a weird antisocial who doesn't see the point in all that and thinks about stuff she finds weird. And she's always mad at me for stupid reasons. Seriously if I dare to say even stuff like '' Don't forget to bring *wathever* '' it can startle the Witch LOL. It's some kind of dark magic I haven't mastered yet :D

Was a he friend, just to clarify haha. The part on my parents was more a cultural ambiguity of what a birthday party would be like, and financial restraints. But yeah, if my parents did that to me just out of 'the want for giggles' the sentiment could have a little bit more nuance. edit: actually, thinking about it I should ask my dad sometime, I'm pretty sure he was the one who insisted on it.. maybe even with a smile on his face..
