Because we don't have enough of these...

Anyways, I found a video on YouTube (it got passed over to me via FB), and I wanted to share this with you guys. I'm not saying it's true and I'm not saying it's false, I just wanted to share.

Feel free to discuss.

I don't have enough info to believe or disbelieve these claims. Yet he seems to incorporate multiple conspiracies into one. Though, this man has a long history with UFO disclosure, so that doesn't surprise me. He also kinda threw me with he climate change thing. While fun, I find this doubtful.

In the end though, I just want to find the whole conference, not just this little announcement.

I personally like the thought of UFOs visiting us, and would look forward to man's accession into the community of the heavens.

This is a subject I'm hugely fascinated with. The suggestion that extra-terrestrials may in fact be what people perceived as gods in ancient times seems a plausible explanation, though, a shot in the dark, honestly.

On one hand, I want to be rational and look at the evidence if there was any, but then again, you see all the accounts of UFOs on TV and Youtube that are compelling as hell. So it's definitely a struggle to maintain complete objectivity, especially when you were spoon fed Star Wars and Star Trek as a kid!

From reading a bunch of UFO/Conspiracy websites, there looks to be a belief that there is a Prime Directive in place so as not to expose we are being visited and to allow humanity to evolve.

I agree, it's a constant struggle to be logical about the evolution and the fact that everything happened without any outside help, but at the same time the topic is really fascinating - I admit, I'm quite a big fan of conspiracy theories and pseudo-sciences, even though logically they don't really stand up on their own.

I found this video pretty cool, only because apparently the guy stands (stood? I don't know much about Canadian politics) in high places, so he IS someone in power. Using this power to say something like this should have had a huge media coverage, even though barely anyone knows about it.

Of course, I don't know much about the guy - I didn't even know that he was a UFO fanatic or something, which makes it a bit believable that this news is not that widely discussed (people probably say he is just a senile fanatic).

Anyways, I know of a Hungarian celebrity who claimed that he came in contact with aliens (a guy who I thought was pretty sane before this claim), and he is now kind of frowned upon. Which is weird, considering that in this part of the world people are pretty religious - thus they believe in an invisible entity.
