OK so this is really just a passing thought and I am trying to figure out exactly how to say it as I write this.

In clinical psychology there are 3 basic moods that people can have. Glad, Angry, Sad. Conversely there are different behaviors/mannerisms/body language that people have that are associated with these moods.

I'm going to attempt to use a basic association scale for these moods in tangent with the body language that go with these moods. This is more of a personal outlook in regards to the scale that I am attempting to use. Its prolly more for myself than anyone else here on this forum, but if you want to comment that is fine too.

I'll say this first, that I believe that ofc there is different degrees to the strength the emotion is felt for each emotion I will be talking about here. I am going to attempt to make a 4 x 4 matrix that explains how threatened and/or secure the person with such emotion feels and what are the corresponding physical traits exhibited by them. What the heck, I'll just do a crappy MS paint thing to demonstrate what I'm thinking.

I'm a simple man, what can I say?

I dont really understand your x/10 scale is it to represent the amount of feelings your processing or the amount of times a persone is within this state ?

And in movement do you mean like walking or just general any kind of motion.

Its like rating your mood from 1-10. A scale of 1-10 is used a lot in group therapy sessions.

Movement means you're moving. Its the thing in between relaxed and tense. Its change in body posture, walking, communicating with your arms, whatever.

Lets you know where my mental state is at, dawg.

I just made that stupid thing because I'm too depressed to sleep right now.

Please refrain from double/triple posting. Even after four posts, I'm not certain that you've been entirely clear.

Either put a little bit more effort into saying the things you're trying to say, or use the edit button instead of editing by way of post.

Peace.

K, I can attempt to explain what I am thinking here.

The matrix are inputs on a three fold of information. The first two, which are body language and emotion are codependent on each other. They both feed off each other. In cognitive behavioral therapy, the goal is to get the patient to be aware of mind states/emotions/physicality/beliefs. The whole means is awareness. The goal is to change the way the patient thinks -restructuring the the brain so that life changes can be made in the patient's life. The way the theory works is that we all start off with a belief. Based on this belief when a stimulus occurs that has to do with this belief there is a reaction that is three fold that all affect each other simultaneously: physicality, emotion and thought. In my example I have taken my own outlook of three ways physicality can be interpreted and combined that with the emotional state that is felt in the way I see it.

The third part of the matrix is a scale that is both completely subjective and separate from the other two sources of information I included. All the scale of 1-10 is is a scale of how comfortable and/or enjoyable the experience is.
